Membership

How long will I have access to Mind Tools content?

Your membership will run for as long as you would like, and you will only lose access to content when you cancel your membership. You have complete control of your subscription.

How do I upgrade my membership?

Upgrading your membership couldn’t be simpler. Log in to your account and go to Account > Me, and then under Plan, click Update. Pick your upgrade, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How do I update my payment information?

To update your payment information, log in and go to Account > Me, and then under Subscription & Billing, click Update.

Can I suspend my membership if I need to take a break?

Yes, you have complete control of your membership. If you need to suspend your membership for up to three months, simply email Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com and let them know how long you would like it to be suspended for. The suspension will start on your next scheduled payment date, and you will not be charged for the suspension period.

How do I cancel my membership?

Mind Tools prides itself on giving customers complete autonomy over their memberships. To cancel your membership, simply log in and go to Account > Me > I want to cancel my subscription. We’ll ask a few questions, and you may be offered a tailored incentive to stay. However, if you would still like to leave then you can proceed with the cancellation process. Once cancelled, you will not be charged again, and you will continue to have access for the duration of the period you have paid for.

If you have any outstanding invoices on your account, these are still owed to Mind Tools after you cancel. If you have any concerns about outstanding charges, please get in touch with Mind Tools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com, and they will be happy to help.

How do I pay for my Mind Tools membership?

Mind Tools accept a wide range or payment methods. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, Union Pay, and PayPal.

I have a valid payment method, but I am unable to sign up.

If you’re having any issues making your purchase, please get in touch with Mind Tools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com, and they will be happy to help you.

Can I pay for my Mind Tools membership by invoice?

Mind Tools does not currently accept invoices for monthly payments. We can accept invoices for Annual and Multi-Year purchases, but this is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Mind Tools Customer Services at mtecustomerservices@mindtools.com for more information.

Can I expense my Mind Tools membership to my employer?

Most employers are happy to support their employees' learning and development. Please let us know what company information you require on your receipt, and we’ll be happy to add it for you.

How do I view my receipts?

I thought a Mind Tools membership gave me access to your content?

Your Mind Tools membership gives you unlimited access to all our available content. However, not all our resources are permanently available through your subscription. The Store allows you to purchase content that may not be on the website. If a piece of content is currently available with your subscription, we will let you know in the item’s description.
